Trading in the commodities markets involves substantial risk and YOU CAN LOSE A LOT OF MONEY, and thus is not appropriate for everyone. You should carefully consider your financial condition before trading in these markets, and only risk capital should be used.
The TIMES method is designed to trade primarily in futures on the stock indices traded at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange ("CME). These markets are perhaps the most volatile markets traded on any exchange in the word, and often experience large daily price movements. In addition, these markets are often illiquid, making it difficult to execute orders at desired prices. Also, during periods of extreme volatility, trading in these markets may be halted due to so-called "circuit breakers" put in place by the CME to alleviate such volatility. In the event of a trading halt, it may be difficult or impossible to exit a losing position.
The TIMES method is a day trading system, meaning positions will be initiated and liquidated within the same trading day, resulting in no positions at the end of the day. Please note that this strategy will necessarily result in more trading activity, and thus more commissions will be charged. These increased costs will make it more difficult to achieve profits. Generally speaking, day trades will not subject a trader calls for additional margin from the exchanges. However, market conditions may make it impossible to exit a position during the day session, and thus there is a possibility that a trader may be subject to margin calls. In addition, if a trader is unable to exit a position during the day session, the trader will be subject to international market risk associated with overnight trading. Also, if a trader is unable to exit a position during the day session, the trader may be forced to liquidate such position on electronic trading systems, which are less liquid than the day session.
All signals generated are provided for educational purposes only. Any trades placed upon reliance on signals are taken at your own risk for your own account. Past performance is no guarantee of future results. While there is great potential for reward when trading commodity futures, there is also substantial risk of loss in all commodity futures trading. You must decide your own suitability to trade. Future trading results can never be guaranteed. This is not an offer to buy or sell futures, options or commodity interests.
The signals generated by Traders International are based on historical formulas which have worked in the past. However, what has happened before may or may not happen again. You can lose all your money trading futures and you must decide your own suitability as to whether or not to trade. Only trade with true risk capital you can afford to lose. Only trade markets you can properly afford to trade. Properly funded trading accounts typically perform better than those that are not.
We request that our students follow our trades using a simulator as we do when we recognize trading opportunities. Please do not misunderstand our services. We are here to educate students using actual real-time charts and simulated trades. Do your own due diligence and consult with a qualified broker or registered investment advisor (which we are not) prior to making any trades. You assume all risk/liability for all trades that you make. Day trading is high-risk and speculative in nature, and is not suitable for most people. Past performance is not indicative of future performance. We make no performance claims of any kind. You hereby agree to all terms on this page before you become a trial or regular member to any service provided by Traders International, Ltd.
